APR(APR) unified crust
Abstract
This table represents the zero temperature and β-equilibrium EoS by Akmal , Pandhari- pande and Ravenhall using variational techniques [ APRP_1998], interaction A1 8 + δv + U IX∗. The transition to the pion condensed phase at high densities is modeled via an inhomogeneous mixed phase with a Gibbs construction, see chapter 5.12 of [ HPY_2007]. The crust has been reconstructed in a thermodynamically consistent and unified way using the CUTER tool [ DDFG_2024, DDFG_2025], see [ DDFG_2025] for details.
